COLD OPEN
"I am not interested in transcendence. I am interested in the tissue of connection — the muddy, partial, mortal bonds between species, technologies, and ecologies. The cyborg is not a fantasy of escape. It is an honest description of what we already are."
OVERVIEW

Feminist theorist and biologist who argued in A Cyborg Manifesto that the boundary between human, animal, and machine was always already permeable — and that this is an opportunity for politics, not a threat. Her concept of situated knowledges insists that all knowledge is produced from inside a web of relations, never from a view from nowhere.

WHY THIS VOICE MATTERS TO KNOWWARE
Haraway theorizes the coordination interface as identity: the cyborg is not a human plus a machine but a new coordination pattern that exceeds both. Her situated knowledges argument shows that two-body epistemology (knower vs. known) is always false — there is always a third body (situation, embodiment, relation) that constitutes the knowing. She gives coordination intelligence its feminist and ecological dimensions.
